Class six thoroughly enjoyed our exciting day out to RAF Cosford in the Midlands. We are learning about The Birmingham Blitz and found out how crucial Birmingham was in producing air crafts during World War II. The world-famous Spitfire is said to be the reason that we won the Battle of Britain and we had the privilege of seeing the oldest Spitfire that fought in the Battle of Britain. We saw many other air crafts from WWII and WWI, as well as some more modern air crafts used in The Cold War. We had a great day out and the children would definitely recommend the trip to others.
