English

Today we are going to complete the story of a Midsummer Night's Dream. Please watch Parts 7 and 8 today using the links below.

I hope you have enjoyed the story? It was written to be performed as a play on the stage. You can watch a part of the play below to get an idea of what it is like to see live. I saw it live last year with my son and really enjoyed it. It can be tricky at times to understand because some of the words are quite old and not what we would use today.

Puck & Oberon in a scene from A Midsummer Night's Dream @ Studio 58

www.studio58.ca Oberon (Dominic Duchesne) and Puck (Lili Beaudoin) conspire in the Studio 58 production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, on stage until October ...

Now I would like you to choose one of the following tasks. It is your choice, so do which you would enjoy the most:

1) Write a summary of the play

2) Explain which version you would prefer to watch, the animation or the play?

3) Create your own puppets for the characters and recreate one of the scenes (parts of the play)

Shakespeare Week

Continue with one of your research/ creative tasks for Shakespeare Week. Perhaps you could do something linked to A Midsummer Nights Dream. I've put up a few more resources in the area for you to use.
