Tuesday

English: Last week we looked at the suffixes 'er' and 'est'.  Today we are going to think about the prefix 'un'.  A prefix comes at the beginning of a word unlike a suffix which comes at the end!  Look at the powerpoint below and work through it.

Now can you match up the words below with their opposites?

happy unlucky kind zip
tidy unhappy fair lucky
unzip wanted untidy true
unfair untrue unwanted unkind

Which words could you use in the story of 'The Three Billy Goats Gruff'?  Who would they describe?

Maths:  We're going to continue grouping in twos today.

Watch the video below and join in with the session.

2. Count in twos and count on from a multiple of 2

Each page is a different challenge choose your challenge or work through all of them!
