Literacy

Play sound bingo. Draw out a grid and in different boxes write down phonics sounds. Ask someone to call out the sounds and you cross them off. Shout 'BINGO' when you have crossed them all out.

Today's sound is 'qu'.

Please follow the lesson for 'qu' on the Bug Club.

Read the sentences you wrote about your wolf.

Today you are going to choose one of those sentences and make it even better.

To make it better we need more information about the wolf.

For example:

If your sentence was: The wolf is bad.

You could make it better by changing it too: He is bad becus he eets peepul. (Remember phonetic writing is what we are looking for, not correct spelling unless your child knows it)

Mathematics

Today we are going to be doing some doubling fun. I will put some ideas underneath for you to choose from but you can do whatever you like as long as it involves doubles.
