Phonics
Go through your sounds mats saying the sounds and tricky words.
Teach the tricky word 'come'. Play a game of copy cat where the adult says the tricky word in a certain way (high pitched/slow/like the queen etc.) and your child then copies. Make sure you are looking at the tricky word when doing this.
Today's blend is 'br'.
Read 'br' words off a road map (one road up the middle with two left and two right roads).
Use the following words: brain, bright, brown, branch
Choose a word from the br activity and write a sentence including that word and a tricky word.
Make sure you have your Phase 2 and 3 sound mat in front of you to help you write your sentence(s).
Handwriting
Practise writing 'l' and 'm' in cursive and 'L' and 'M'.
