• 9.20 - 9.40 Meet me online at 9.20 for today's live lesson of Maths.  Today we are going to start our new topic of statistics!  It a fun one to do at home and school.

Create a tally chart to show the amount of pigs, chickens, cows and ducks there are on Sandy Bay Farm.  If you would like some templates you can use the ones below or draw your own.

Today it's time to wiggle it!

English

Do you remember how Mrs Grinling and Mr Grinling finally got rid of the seagulls with that disgusting mustard sandwich?  Well today I would like you to listen to the story of 'The Disgusting Sandwich' by Gareth Edwards.  This story is about another disgusting sandwich!

Today I would like you to create a list of all the ingredients in the sandwich. So listen carefully and record what you hear in a list - a bit like a shopping list. You will need to stop and start the story as you play to make your list but why not listen to it all at once first to just enjoy it and to find out why it really is a disgusting sandwich. Yuk!

The video below is a collection of stories. Today we are only using the first one but you might like to listen to the other stories in the collection at another time.
