Summer 1 week 4 wc 11.5.20

Hello Year 4!

I hope you all had a great weekend and enjoyed the VE Day celebrations!  It was lovely to meet you in our Teams meeting last week.  Also, thank you again for sharing some of your learning that you did - have a look in last week's Wonderful Work folder to see some examples!

I've set your learning for this week in the folders below.  The English/Theme/Art/Mental Health activity (it's a little bit of everything!) on Monday is quite important as it links to the learning for the rest of the week.  Remember that, as before, you don't need to worry if you don't get everything done, just try your best and do what you can in the time you've got.  Any questions, please ask!

This week is Mental Health Week so there is an activity each day related to that.  For this reason, I have not put a separate mindfulness activity this week.

Don't forget to have a look at the Our Faith and SIAMS page to see what Mr Fidler has put up related to our value of Service for this term and for details of a Singing Project coming soon.  Mr Nicholls has also set a PE Challenge for you to do, I'm sure you'll have some good ideas for that!  FInally, on the Class Pages page, there is a folder called Children and Young Families Link with some other fun activities in for you.

Looking forward to seeing you all again in our Teams meeting this week - details of day and time to follow as soon as it's set!

Stay safe and have a good week!

Top tips for Maths:  When you are having a go at the reasoning and problem solving questions, make sure you show some working/numerical evidence to help you to "show how you know" and check your answer!

Teams Meeting

This week's Teams meeting will be at 11am on Wednesday.  Please have a book/magazine/comic that you've enjoyed reading to show us - I'll just ask you to briefly tell us what it's about and why you like it so nothing too tricky!  Looking forward to seeing you all again!
