The Reception Baseline Assessment (RBA) is a short assessment, taken in the first 6 weeks of a child starting their Reception year. From September 2021 all schools are required to administer the baseline.
Each child will work through set activities with their class teacher. The activities last for approximately 20 minutes and can be split into smaller chunks of time.
