The Revised Early Years Foundation Stage, 2021

 

All Reception class staff will be working with a revised framework from September 2021. Both the statutory and non-statutory guidance teachers work with have been changed. 

 

The DfE (Department For Education) state that the aims of the reforms are to:

  • improve outcomes for children 
  • strengthen language development 
  • reduce unnecessary paperwork so that staff can spend more time engaging in high quality interactions with children, supporting their learning.
