Theme - Geography - following on from our live lesson.

This is the coast of a small island, this area is called Sandy Bay. What human and physical features can you see? Make a list or record your ideas in a table. Use the name of the places on the island e.g. High cliff is a physical feature and Fisherman's Cottages is a human feature.

Following on from your brilliant addition of two, 2 digit numbers yesterday, today we are going to continue to practise this but move back to the area of money.  Try to think how the methods you practised yesterday can help you today.

Your totals might go over 100 today but remember we are working with money today so and answer of 136p is correct but you might like to record this as £1.36 as we know that 100p makes £1.

Today there are 3 different sets:

Set 1 amounts up to 20p

Set 2 amounts up to 50p

Set 3 amounts up to £1.00 (100p)

Choose two items and add them together!  Complete as many calculations as you can.
