This half term we are starting a new RE unit entitled:
'Who is a Muslim and what do they believe?'
We are going to start by thinking about this:
GOD: what does this word mean? What is invisible and what shows it is there?
If we were to blow up a balloon air would be inside, but we wouldn't be able to see it. For some people God is very important in their lives, even though they can't see Him. Muslims believe that the world would not function without God just as a balloon would not function without air.
Task: Can you produce artwork showing where you think people can find God?
Make sure you draw a place, but not a person – because Muslims never draw Allah. They say all pictures of Allah are wrong! Allah is too great for pictures!
