Can I write an information text?

Please finish your information text on the layers of the rainforest. 

Check your writing for:

• Capital letters, full stops, question marks, exclamation marks, commas in longer sentences
• Subheadings for each section
• Interesting sentence openers and exciting facts
• An introductory paragraph.

Can I investigate symmetry?

Please complete the symmetry investigations on MyMaths today.  To find them, log in to the main part of MyMaths.  Then choose Geometry on the left hand menu, then Position and Direction from the middle menu.  If you scroll right down through the activities, you will come to Investigate Symmetry 1 and Investigate Symmetry 2.  If you would like to screenshot the designs that you find and email the picture to me, I’d love to see how you get on.

Can I describe some rainforest vegetation?

Today I’d like you to find out about rainforest plants and their uses.  Use the pages on the oddizzi website called “Plants” and “Food and Medicine”.  The username is homeschool and the password is oddizzi.

If you have time, you could make a poster about the different plants in the rainforest and their uses.
