Class Meeting Today!

Mathematics

I have had lots of great pictures of angle eaters this week there are lots of right angles being eaten! Well done!

Thank you to Ollie, Evie, Hywel and Joshua who have sent me some pictures of what they have found! Sam has played a game of turning turtles and completed his patters.

Task

Today I would like you to have an explore of some online shape games. They cover a lot of the work that we have completed this week and some of our 2D and 3D shape work from earlier in the term. Follow the link below.

English

Complete, publish and illustrate your rhyming poem from this week's work. I'd really like to see them when you have finished, why not send in a picture of your completed poem. Honeybelle has produced a poem on a brand new theme! Instead of Silently, Silently we have a new start for her verse - Happily Happily!  I like the title too! You can hear Honeybelle read her own poem below.

The children in Year 2 listened to the story of Elmer and learnt that it's O.K. to be different. Being different, is being UNIQUE!

I hope you all have a happy half term everybody and enjoy the sunshine. I just wanted to tell you that I am so, so proud of every single one of you. Your work, messages, videos, and smiley faces on our teams meeting has blown me away.

I miss you all so much and wish that we could all be together in our classroom laughing, singing, playing and working together. I am one proud teacher and you are all super stars shining very brightly!

Have a great week and keep smiling,

Miss Evens
