Phonics

You will need a piece of paper/notebook/whiteboard and something to write with.

Phase 5 - 'or' written as 'al'

Activity 1: Tricky Word Bingo

Activity 2: Reading Words

Activity 3: Write the words from the PowerPoint on pieces of paper and put them up around your home in places you go a lot (bottom of the stairs, kitchen, bedroom etc). Every time you go to that area, read the word.

English

Your project until Thursday is to create a fact file of a polar bear.

Please use the facts you found out last week but you may also add more if you wish.

Do a little each day.

Don't forget to include:

  • a front cover
  • facts
  • pictures (you may want to label some pictures
  • if you want to make a contents page to organise your facts you can but this is optional (don't forget page numbers if you do this)

Which 3D shapes could Jack use to continue the pattern?

Today you are going to be learning about the human body and it's parts.

Please look at the website below.

Your activity is to label parts of the body.

You can complete the worksheet below (or draw one out if you don't have a printer) or, if you have the resources, you can draw a life-size body by drawing around yourself and label it (see image below).
