Year 6 have been tackling the area of the school just outside Mrs Higham’s window. We had a real battle on our hands due to deep roots and brambles. This is what the area looked like before our hard work...
Have you got a passion for business? Do you want to make lots of money?

World at War
In class 6 we studied Vincent Van Gogh for the whole day. We enjoyed learning all about the impressionism art movement and had a go sketching using all the lines and emotion that they used. We thought it was astonishing how Gogh only became famous after his death and it was sad to know that Gogh was a very unhappy person and spent the majority of his life being depressed. We thought it might have been because no one enjoyed his artwork when he was alive! Hopefully he can be happy now, knowing how famous he is and how his art is worth millions of pounds!
In Geography we have been learning about weathering and erosion. We carried out experiments to test: Chemical weathering, physical weathering, biological weathering and erosion. We had great fun getting stuck in and discovering what happens.
