Summer 2 week 11 wc 6.7.20

UPDATE: Our Teams meeting is Wednesday 8th July at 9:30.  Please have pencil and paper ready to join in the activity.  Looking forward to seeing you there!

Hello Year 4, I hope you all had a lovely weekend!

Welcome to our last week of home learning!  I hope you've enjoyed the activities - I've certainly enjoyed setting them for you and, even more so, receiving the emails and blog posts with photos of what you've been doing and how you've been getting on.  One of the best things has been the way you've each approached the more creative tasks in your own way, it's been really lovely to see how there are so many different ways of presenting it!

I hope you are all feeling very proud of how you've handled these lockdown weeks, how hard you've tried completing learning set by someone you've never met in person and how friendly and confident you've been chatting to me in the Teams meetings.  I've been very impressed and feel very lucky to have been working with you this term.  Thank you to you and your parents for all your efforts smiley.

This week, we have a couple of Science and RE activities to finish off those topics and then some activities to round off the end of Year 4 and start preparing for Year 5.  I have popped a couple of Maths activities up too if you'd like to keep doing some Maths but these are not compulsory.  I am still happy to receive emails with pictures of what you've been doing if you'd like to share them.  Please keep up your reading and times tables practice.  Don't forget to keep active, getting outside where possible to do some exercise (there are plenty of ideas on the PE Tasks page of the Class Pages, and to look after yourself by doing some mindfulness and having some quiet time too!

I will send the invite out for our Teams meeting soon so keep checking your welearn365 emails!

Have a good week and stay safe.
