Our text this week is...

 Writing 

At Tanworth we use cursive handwriting. In our handwriting lessons we say to the children that all of our letters start with a ‘little smile’ … the cursive flick.  It is very important that children write the little smile correctly, from left to right. This requires a lot of repetition to learn. We are also focussing on the correct pencil hold, calling it our 'crocodile snap'.
