Hi everyone! I hope you all had a lovely weekend and enjoyed a well deserved break from the brilliant work you've been doing, you really are superstars (parents too)! From this week some of you will be returning to school on a part time basis, therefore I have had to think about how this will affect home learning.
I think I have come up with a solution that most will be happy with. I will be putting three days of home learning on the class page each week, which is for all children in the class. For those children staying at home or in the key worker group in school and continuing with full time home learning, you will also have a project to complete. I will outline this project on a separate sub page each week. Children who are attending school for the two days a week do not need to complete this (unless you want to of course!) Finally, I will retrospectively upload the work completed in school for the following week. There will be a heavy focus on PSHE, mindfulness activities and mental wellbeing, which is to ensure first that all of the children are okay and secondly, to ease them into what looks like might be the new normal for a while (until the end of the summer term.) There is no expectation that the children at home should complete these activities, but they will be there if you would like to look at them and for the parents of children who are attending school to discuss at home if they wish to do so. I hope that all makes sense, but if you have any questions please do email me!
For those children electing to continue with full time home learning, I would appreciate a weekly update on how you are getting on with the tasks set and to be informed of how you are generally. Thank you!
