Spellings/ Handwriting
For spellings today, I'd like you to write a sentence for each spelling word in your group's spellings, so you can show that you can use it in your own writing. Remember to use your best handwriting and what we say about how you should sit when writing!

We are going to be reading a book together next week called The Scarab's Secret. You can see on the front cover I have attached below a pharaoh holding a small beetle.
I would like to you to study the picture and write a description of what you can see. Don't forget to use your expanded noun phrases and to include some high quality vocabulary too.
