Today is our mixed maths practice, using our homework books. Please turn to Section 3, Test 4 for today's work.

The children with the Green book will need to turn to Page 41 to complete the work entitled 'Writing with joined words'.
The children with the Red book will need to turn to Page 26 to complete the work entitled 'Nouns with suffixes'.
Spanish
Today we are going to be finding out pets in Spanish. First of all watch the video to find out the names of common pets and how to pronounce them.
Now have a look at the slides which you can take as your own speed. You will see something different from our language. In Spanish some words are 'male' and some are 'female'. If it is a male word then you say 'un' and if it is female you say 'una'.
Now have a look at the task below. I wonder if you can translate what has been said about what pets they have? ('Esto es' means 'This is' and 'Tengo' means 'I have')
