Reception Baseline Assessment

The Reception Baseline Assessment (RBA) is a short assessment, taken in the first 6 weeks of a child starting their Reception year. It is a statutory assessment that will provide a starting point to measure the progress schools make with their pupils between reception and the end of primary school.

 

Each child will work through set activities with their class teacher. The activities last for approximately 20 minutes and can be split into smaller chunks of time.
