Play sound and tricky word bingo.
Today's blend is 'lp'.
Have a go at reading the following words in this PowerPoint...
Choose a word from the lp activity and write a sentence including that word and a tricky word. You can make a silly sentence if you want to (children have done silly sentences before - sentences that don't make sense).
For example: "Help the pulp on the alp."
Make sure you have your Phase 2 and 3 sound mat in front of you to help you write your sentence(s).
Read the following story to your child:
"Jigsaw Jenie yawns. Under her dressing gown, she has her pyjamas on and she is carrying her teddy and glass of milk. She turns on her nightlight and gets a story off the her bookshelf."
What time of day do you think it is?
What the following clip...
What type of music was that? (lullaby)
Lie down and listen to the following lullaby. Take slow deep breaths.
When we are sleeping, our bodies are growing and repairing themselves.
Sleeping is just as good and important for you as eating and exercise.
What do you do before you go to sleep?
What time do you go to sleep?
What do you wear?
Do you cuddle anything?
Do you say prayers before you go to sleep?
Do you dream?
Below is a teddybear outline for you to design your own bear that you would cuddle.
