  • SCHOOL CLOSED

    I have made the decision to close the school today due to the hazardous driving conditions caused by the snow. Closing the school is never an easy decision but the safety of children and staff is paramount. The rural position of our beautiful school does mean that we may experience extreme weather when just a few miles down the road seems fine. The closure of Vicarage Hill has also impacted on the decision made.

    Mr Dourass and Miss Wilding have uploaded some videos under the children tab demonstrating how we teach calculation in Year 5 and Year 6.
  • Art Work

    On Friday 17th November ArtBase worked with all of Year 5 and Year 6 children creating characters from literature for our new library. Today Steve the Caretaker and Dawn Flower one of our Learning Assistants have displayed the art work in the library area.

    Well done to all of Year 5 and Year 6 for creating such fabulous art work.

  • RE Curriculum Day

    Mr Fidler our RE Leader has organised for all the children to take part in a RE curriculum day on Thursday 23rd November. The children will take part in a variety of activities linked to the theme 'Let There Be Light'. Children will be learning about the importance of light in festivals including Hanukkah and Diwali as well as light in the Christian faith.
