  Tomorrow is our sponsored event so please remember to send your child's sponsor form in with them in the morning. Children may come to school tomorrow in their sports clothes for the day, please note this can either be their school sports kit or their own sports clothes, football shirts are allowed.

  As tomorrow is also Children in Need Day, we have decided that instead of asking for further contributions, we will donate the equivalent of £1 per pupil to Children in Need from the sponsor money collected.

• Remembrance Service

  Today Miss Evens and Mr Fidler led the Remembrance Service on The Green. Year 6 children read prayers, and with our Reception children lay crosses to remember the fallen soldiers. This week all of the children have created poppies which are now displayed in our Prayer Garden.

• Design your own Christmas cards

  Today all of the children have brought home instructions to make their own Christmas cards. Children may design a Christmas card, and then should you wish, you can purchase their design on 'real' cards/mugs/gift tags...

  All completed designs, order forms and payment must be brought into school on Monday 5th November in order that they can be made ready for Christmas.

• Harvest Sevice

• Celebration Assembly In Church

• Safer Internet Day

  Today all of the children took part in activities learning how to stay safe when using the internet. The day ended with a very informative assembly, where each class shared some very important messages on how to stay safe when using the internet.

• Athletics Champions

  Well done to the 30 children who represented Tanworth-In-Arden in the Indoor Athletics Competition on Monday 5th February. I am pleased to share that they returned to school in first place.

• Story in a shoe box

  Thank you to all the children who created a story in a shoe box over the Christmas Holiday. It was really difficult deciding who to award the prize to in each category. After lots of deliberation the book vouchers went to:

  Tia in the Early Years age group

  Scarlett in the KS1 age group

  Amba in Lower Key Stage 2 age group

  Alyssa in Upper Key Stage 2 age group

• Christmas Jumper Day

  Don't forget that Friday 15th December is Christmas Jumper Day. Children can come to school wearing a festive jumper with their school skirt/trousers. Children who go swimming can wear a Christmas jumper with their tracksuit bottoms. All money raised will be donated to Save the Children.
