2ND CORINTHIANS 9:7
It has been lovely to welcome the children back to school this week. The sun shining really helped everyone settle back into the daily routine. On Monday I shared the new school rules with the children. We now have simply three rules, these are to be ready, respectful and safe. You can find more information about this and a copy of the powerpoint shared in assembly under the Key Information page. Just click on Ready, Respectful and Safe.
This week in assembly we have introduced our Christian value for this half-term, the value of 'Friendship'. Over the half-term assemblies will have a focus on friendship. Look out for the newsletter giving ideas of activities to try at home and things to discuss with your children.
This week we celebrated Shakespeare's birthday in school. Over the week each Key Stage have been looking at different plays. Year 1 and 2 looked at A Midsummer's Night Dream whilst Years 3 and 4 looked at The Tempest. Years 5 and 6 focused on Romeo and Juliet. Being a Warwickshire school and so close to Stratford Upon Avon, we feel it is important that the children learn about such an important literary figure. On Friday 22nd, we invited the children, and staff, to dress up as as a character from a Shakespearean play to celebrate Shakespeare's birthday on the 23rd. Did you know Shakespeare's death is also recorded as 23rd April?

Hello, I hope you are all well and had good weekends celebrating Mother's Day. Today has been rather strange in school with only 5 children. The staff that were in have been busy planning learning activities to upload, cleaning, tidying, putting together a table tennis table and performing an assembly that will be shared with you later on in the week. Please remember that we are only an email away, so if you have any worries, queries or questions please do not hesitate to get in touch. We are all learning together.
