School Clubs

At our Tanworth-in-Arden, we are proud to offer a wide range of enrichment clubs throughout the year. These clubs give children the opportunity to explore new interests, develop skills, build friendships and enjoy learning beyond the classroom.

 Our enrichment programme plays an important role in school life and reflects our Christian vision of enabling every child to grow, flourish and experience life in all its fullness. Through these activities, children are encouraged to discover their gifts, build confidence and develop a love of learning in a supportive and nurturing environment. It is an important part of school life and supports children’s personal development, well-being and enjoyment of school.

School‑Led Enrichment Clubs (Free of Charge)

A number of enrichment clubs are run by members of our school staff and are provided free of charge

These clubs may include:

*   Sports and physical activities

*   Creative and artistic opportunities

*   Curriculum‑linked clubs

*   Well-being and interest‑based groups

Places at school‑led clubs may be limited. Where this is the case, places will be allocated fairly. Information about each club, including who can attend and how to sign up, will be shared with parents in advance.

Clubs Run by External Providers (Fee‑Paying)

We also work with external providers who offer a range of specialist clubs on the school site. These clubs provide children with access to experienced coaches or leaders and a broader choice of activities.

Please note:

*   These clubs incur a charge, set by the provider

*   Booking and payment are made directly with the provider

*   Providers are responsible for their own registers and organisation

All external providers are carefully selected, and appropriate safeguarding and insurance checks are completed before clubs begin.

Booking and Communication

For all enrichment clubs, parents will be given:

*   Details of the club content, dates and times

*   Information about eligible year groups

*   Clear instructions on how to book a place

*   Confirmation of any cost involved (where applicable)

Information is usually shared via letters, emails or the school communication system.

Our Commitment to Enrichment

All enrichment clubs, whether led by school staff or external providers, are expected to:

*   Be safe, inclusive and well supervised

*   Support children’s confidence and personal development

*   Encourage enjoyment, teamwork and positive participation

We encourage families to talk with their children about the clubs on offer and to choose activities that reflect their interests.

If you have any questions about enrichment clubs, please contact the school office.
