Friday 26th February

Good morning Year 5!

Today is "Feel Good Friday!" and the theme is "Finishing off Friday"

Today is time for you to finish off any learning that you haven't got around to doing or completing yet.

If you've finished everything, there are some optional activities for you to do over on Teams...

1. Draw a baby orangutan tutorial - your artwork from the week before half term was beautiful! This is another video tutorial that you can follow along with at home.

2. Spanish - Can you match the Spanish word to the colour, find the colours in the word search and learn a Spanish song?

3. RE - Find out about the Jewish festival of Purim. Bake some traditional Jewish cookies and make a grogger!

4. Design make a potato (or stone) book character - decorate a potato or stone as your favourite character from a story. You can use paint, felts, paper, pipe cleaners, googly eyes... use your imagination and go wild!

Have the loveliest day!

See you for our Teams meetings at 10.20am and 2.45pm

Monday 22nd February

Welcome back Year 5!

I hope that you've had the most wonderful half term. I hope you relaxed, spent time with your families, got outside for a bit of exercise and generally forgot all about school!

I also hope that you're ready to go again and smash home learning! We should find out today how much longer it will be until we're back at school together and fingers crossed it won't be too long. Try and enjoy this last bit of home learning - make the most of being able to take brain breaks whenever you fancy, snack while doing English and wear pyjamas while doing maths!

Miss you lots and see you soon smiley
