English

You came up with some lovely ideas for the title of the story yesterday.

Below is a picture of the front cover with the actual title.

Have a go at reading it.

Now you know the real title, can you predict what's going to happen in the story?

This can either be written or draw as labelled pictures.

Remember, there is no right or wrong answer when you predict. You are guessing what's going to happen.

Maths

Complete the questions below.

For the next question, you need to count the amount of counters in the middle first.

For the smaller number, this can be any number less than the middle number.

For the greater number, this can be any number greater than the middle number.

R.E.

Answer the following questions verbally or by writing the answers down.

What happens at school when you do something wrong?

What happens at home when you do something wrong?

How do we know when we have been forgiven?

Perhaps when we say we're sorry, the person we are apologising to might say, "That's okay, I forgive you".

Is it good to forgive people?

How does is feel when we don't forgive?

Why is it sometimes hard to forgive?

Think back to our story of 'The Lost Son'.

Christians believe God is loving and forgiving, just like the father was to his greedy son.

Extension:

Draw a picture of a time when you were forgiven.
