EYFS Phase Leader
Are you an ambitious and experienced Early Years teacher looking for the next step in your career?
An exciting opportunity for September 2019 has become available. Tanworth-In-Arden C of E Primary School and Nursery are looking for an EYFS Phase Leader to join their SLT from September 2019. This post requires an experienced teacher who has the skills to use their knowledge and experience to lead our EYFS which comprises of a 38 place term time only Nursery and Reception class. This is a class based position teaching a lovely Reception class however out of class planning and management time will be offered.
This Early Years Phase Leader role involves you managing the development of the EYFS stage as a whole. You will be managing the phase's resources and making sure your team have everything they need to teach to the best of their ability while still managing the budget effectively. The primary focus will be a review of schemes of work, and developing agreed improvements. As an Early Years Phase Leader you will be continuing to lead effective lessons for your class on a daily basis, while also enjoying the extra responsibilities you will be taking on as a member of the schools SLT.
We are looking for:
* A knowledgeable early years class teacher who will contribute to raising achievement and attainment
* An organised and inspirational EYFS teacher and leader, who can motivate pupils and staff
* Extensive EYFS teaching experience
* Someone who demonstrates a commitment to safeguarding all children

The successful candidate for this class based EYFS phase leader role will be an individual with clear passion for teaching and confidence in their abilities as a teacher and a leader. The Headteacher is seeking to appoint a candidate who mirrors the schools ethos and has the ambition to participate actively in the further growth and development of the school.
We are a one form entry Primary school, with extensive grounds for use as part of the curriculum.
